AutoCheck does not report structural damage, airbag deployment, an insurance loss, or a branded title in connection with these events. Buyers are encouraged to review the history and perform an independent inspection for additional confidence.

Reported service history includes vehicle inspections, recommended maintenance, driveline service, electrical-system service, cooling-system service, and an oil and filter change.

AutoCheck's overall odometer evaluation reports no issues.

FACTORY EQUIPMENT AND VALUE

The vehicle history identifies this Durango as a Police Special Service model equipped with:

• 5.7L V8 gasoline engine

• Four-door SUV configuration

• Police Special Service specification

A detailed factory window sticker or build sheet was not provided, so additional packages and individual equipment are not represented as confirmed.

The Police Special Service configuration gives this Durango a different identity from a conventional consumer-trim SUV and may appeal to buyers specifically looking for a former government-service vehicle with V8 power.

PERFORMANCE

The standout feature of this Durango is its 5.7L V8.

The larger-displacement V8 provides the strong power delivery and substantial feel buyers often seek in a Durango, making this SUV appealing for highway travel, everyday utility, and drivers who simply prefer the character of a V8-powered vehicle.

Combined with the Police Special Service designation, the powertrain gives this Durango a more purpose-built personality than a typical family crossover.

POLICE SPECIAL SERVICE

This Durango's Police Special Service designation is an important part of its history and appeal.

AutoCheck shows that it entered service with a Louisiana local government agency in November 2020 and remained associated with government use for most of its reported ownership history.

Former government vehicles can appeal to buyers looking for specialized fleet configurations and a vehicle with a documented institutional-use background.

Because government-service vehicles can experience operating conditions that differ from normal personal-use vehicles, buyers should consider a mechanical inspection as part of the purchase process.

UTILITY AND VERSATILITY

The Durango platform provides the practicality expected from a midsize SUV while adding the character of a V8 powertrain.

Its four-door SUV configuration makes it suitable for a wide range of uses, including:

• Daily transportation

• Passenger carrying

• Highway travel

• Cargo use

• Business or fleet applications

The combination of SUV versatility and V8 power gives this Police Special Service model broad practical appeal.

WHY THIS ONE STANDS OUT

This Durango stands out because it is not a typical retail-spec SUV.

AutoCheck identifies it as a Police Special Service model with a 5.7L V8 and a long history of local government use.

Its reported history includes a clean state title, no structural damage, no airbag deployment, no insurance loss, no odometer issues, and no open recalls.

Two collision events are reported, including a minor-to-moderate right-front collision in 2021 and a minor left-front collision in 2025. Those events are disclosed clearly so buyers can evaluate the vehicle with the full available history.
